Susan Hendrix

Susan Hendrix is the Manager of Health, Safety and Quality Management Systems for Fujifilm Manufacturing USA, Inc., where she is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of an integrated environmental, safety, health and quality management system.

 

Ms. Hendrix has over 28 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and has been with Fujifilm since 1991. In 2009, Ms. Hendrix assumed responsibility for the Health and Safety department, and has led the efforts in improving the Safety Culture by leveraging her background in Quality Assurance which had a strong emphasis on problem solving and continual improvement. She helped develop and implement an improvement methodology which integrated Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen and Fujifilm internal methods into an overall business improvement strategy, and developed and delivered training programs to help support this strategy.

 

She is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and a PathWise Analytical Problem Solving Certified Trainer. She has a degree in Electronic Engineering from Piedmont Technical College and is working towards a degree in Organizational Management from Newberry College.
