Washington, D.C., Oct. 15, 2010 - Corporate leaders will gather this fall in Indianapolis for the 18th Annual EHS Management Forum, a three-day conference dedicated to showcasing the best practices in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), and Sustainability management. Hosted by the NAEM, the premier association for EHS management, the Forum is the largest annual gathering of EHS and Sustainability decision-makers, drawing more than 650 managers, directors and vice presidents.
NAEM’s Forum keeps practitioners at the forefront of the constantly evolving EHS and Sustainability profession. Peer-led interactive sessions and keynote presentations deliver insight and tools attendees can use to promote progressive policies, drive business value and fulfill a corporation’s responsibility to society.

This year's keynote speakers are:
- Dr. Daniel Goleman: The bestselling author of ‘Emotional Intelligence and Primal Leadership’, will discuss the environmental consequences of a consumer society and will identify how new market forces can drive critical eco-friendly lifestyle changes.
Vice Presidents Panel: Steve Ramsey, former General Electric Co. EHS vice president and lecturer at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, will lead a discussion with vice presidents from the Boeing Co., Talisman Energy Inc. and Alcoa Inc. Participants will discuss what corporate sustainability initiatives mean for traditional EHS organizations and how these leaders are incorporating sustainability into their business operations.
- Ben Heineman: Author of High Performance with High Integrity, Mr. Heineman will explore the dark side of a free market system, highlight the importance of business ethics and outline the principles corporate leaders must follow to remain competitive in today’s ever-changing global business environment.
Mark Pascal and Francis Schott, “The Restaurant Guys”: As owners of two highly successful, environmentally conscious restaurants in New Jersey, these dynamic speakers will examine the evolution of our modern food system and the trend toward returning to local systems that minimize environmental impacts. They also will detail the implications this movement has for the definition of “sustainability” and today’s business.

NAEM Updates
The National Association for Environmental Management (NAEM) will host its inaugural Excellence Awards on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the 26th Annual EHS & Sustainability Management Forum. During this award program's first year, NAEM will be presenting a Lifetime Achievement Award and six NexGen Leader Awards, thanks to supporting sponsorship by AECOM. The NAEM Excellence Awards exist to recognize and elevate leaders in the corporate EHS&S community as well as showcase best practices of EHS&S management in corporations.
NAEM Executive Director, Carol Singer Neuvelt, will present research insights and emerging trends during an upcoming webinar with Arcadis on May 30 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m (ET). The free, Arcadis-hosted presentation, "Use Your EHS Data for Smarter, Better, Faster Decision Making" will identify opportunities for environment, health, safety and sustainability (EHS&S) leaders to leverage predictive analytics and data management systems to better manage risk. Arcadis is the leading global design and consulting firm for natural and built assets.
