NAEM Excellence Awards exist to recognize and elevate leaders in the corporate EHS&S community as well as showcase best practices of EHS&S management in corporations. NAEM Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an EHS&S leader whose vision and commitment has positively shaped the fields of environment, health & safety, and/or sustainability within a corporate management role. NAEM NexGen Leaders Awards recognize rising EHS&S managers who possess the talent and skills required for the next generation of EHS&S industry leadership.

Nomination Criteria
For one recipient.
- 20+ years of exceptional EHS&S performance, currently serving as an in-house EHS&S leader.
- Distinguished service and leadership within the EHS&S profession.
- Demonstrated impact on organizational performance.
- Proven leadership effectiveness in the development of EHS&S professionals.
- Commitment to industry advancements and lifelong learning.

Nomination Requirements
- All EHS&S industry professionals, including corporate in-house employees, consultants, colleagues and teams, may nominate an individual for the NAEM Lifetime Achievement Award.
- Nominators may nominate more than one individual—a separate form is required for each nominee.
- Self-nominations will be accepted.
- Third-party letter of recommendation must be included with nomination form.
- Incomplete forms will not be considered.

NexGen Leaders
Nomination Criteria
Up to six recipients.
- High-potential corporate professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the fields of environment, health & safety and/or sustainability.
- Influence as an emerging EHS&S leader within his/her organization.
- Demonstrated results within area of responsibility.
- Proven decision-making and/or problem solving ability.
- Dedication to professional development.
- Commitment to the EHS&S industry.

- Any corporate industry professional who is a supervisor/mentor of person being nominated; or, a company executive where person being nominated is employed.
- Nominators may nominate more than one individual—a separate form is required for each nominee.
