Washington D.C., March 21, 2012 - The registration opened this week for NAEM's 20th annual EHS Management Forum on Oct. 17-19 in Naples, Fla. This year's conference will feature four tracks of peer-developed content, showcasing the best practices in corporate environment, health and safety (EHS) and sustainability management.
Now in its twentieth year, the event also marks an important milestone in NAEM's history, according to Executive Director, Carol Singer Neuvelt.
"When our members began meeting to discuss how to manage environmental risks, advance workplace safety and embed beyond-compliance principles into their operations, EHS management was generally seen as a cost center," she said. "Today, leading-edge companies recognize that resource efficiency, a strong culture of compliance and engaged stakeholders saves money and promotes financial longevity.
"Twenty years later we're proud to continue to deliver educational programming that helps our members advance these concepts in their organizations."
NAEM's EHS Management Forum is the largest annual gathering of EHS and sustainability decision-makers. To learn more or to register today, please visit http://ehsforum.naem.org/
