Washington, DC, March 12, 2014 - The 2014 EHS Management Forum is headed to Austin,Texas this October 22-24 and Planning Committee Chairman, Allen Stegman, General Director of Environmental and Hazardous Materials for BNSF Railway Co., says the annual conference will make a Texas-sized impression.
“We have all heard before how Texas does it bigger and better,” he said. “We want to ensure that each attendee experiences and benefits from hearing from thought leaders on the issues each of us face every day.”
NAEM's EHS Management Forum is the largest annual conference for environment, health and safety (EHS) and sustainability leaders. The agenda is developed by a peer-led committee; the sessions are presented by corporate leaders who explain the real-world solutions they developed to achieve best practices.
Committee Vice Chairman Chris Milici, Director of Global EHS & Security for John Crane Group Corp. says he looks forward to shaping the conference that has been an “annual favorite.”
“The Annual NAEM Forum is truly a unique experience,” he said. “It's an honor to be able to participate this year in leadership role.”
Although the topics have not yet been announced, the Chairmen said the conference will emphasize themes of innovation, leadership and business.
“This year's Forum will continue the long tradition of providing real takeaways that will benefit each attendee and the companies they work for while also providing the best networking event for our profession,” Mr. Stegman said.
