Washington, DC, March 25, 2014 - Today NAEM announced the topics for its upcoming “Metrics and Materiality for EHS & Sustainability” conference on May 21-22 in Denver, Colo. The event is designed as a forum for discussing the leading approaches to measuring and communicating a company’s environmental, social and governance performance.

NAEM Executive Director said the topic remains top-of-mind for NAEM members, who are responsible for defining sustainability strategy for their companies.

“Every company defines sustainability for itself, based on its industry, its business model and importantly, the issues that are material to the company’s stakeholders,” she said. “This conference will explore the management challenges associated with establishing these programs and communicating the results.”
