Speaker biographies:
Lisa S. Barnes
Ms. Barnes is Technical Director of Climate Change Services for Bureau Veritas North America. She is a registered professional engineer, certified industrial hygienist, and a Lead Verifier for Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sustainability Reporting. Ms. Barnes’ education includes a bachelor of science in engineering from University of Vermont, master of health sciences from Harvard University and a master of business administration from St. Mary’s College. She has more than 25 years of experience in environmental, health and safety.
Lex de Bruijn
Over the past 10 years Lex has been engaged in international business development, expanding on topics such as Corporate responsibility, EHS management and Assurance. Among other jobs Lex has been active as Auditor and Lead Assessor Management Systems for many years. Throughout his career Lex has been accustomed to work for Multi National clients such as The Coca-Cola Company, Sun Microsystems, Kennametal, Bacardi , Abbot, GE Plastics and many others.
