Speaker Biographies:
Paul C. Beatley

Paul Beatley is a co-founder and director of Enhesa S.A. and its wholly-owned US subsidiary. Based in Washington, DC, Paul has over twenty-five years of professional experience in EHS management and regulatory consulting, including ten years based in France and Belgium, and has led consulting assignments, including forecasting and analysis of regulatory and policy change, strategy and management of extended producer responsibility obligations for global markets, compliance audits, due diligence assessments, and management and organisational studies around the globe, including throughout Europe and the Middle East, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific-Oceania region. Prior to starting Enhesa, he was a senior consultant at Booz-Allen & Hamilton, based in Paris, and before that, a manager with A.T. Kearney in Washington. Paul holds an M.Sc. in economics from the London School of Economics, a B.A. from University College, Dublin.
Nick Martin

Nick Martin has over 12 years of extensive experience supporting private and public organizations with translating their sustainability-related aspirations into successful strategies, measurable objectives, and where desired, process management systems (ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001). He leverages a unique combination of environmental engineering and business administration expertise to partner with multinational clients in developing and implementing fit-for-purpose programs that integrate sustainability into core business practices. Specific areas of expertise include global water resource management, development of fit-for-purpose process improvement systems, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement. Much of his strategic support involves researching leading practices in Corporate Responsibility and utilizing this knowledge to assist clients with benchmarking against peers and developing viable strategies. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, a Master’s degree in Environmental and Energy Management and a Masters of Business Administration.
